About the work

Wondering is a self-portrait that explores vulnerability, resilience, and the constant search for hope. I'm surrounded by demonic hands that claw at my self-image, representing energy vampires and environments where I feel unable to be my authentic self. Around my neck is a red scarf, symbolizing protection against these negative influences.

The flower growing from my head represents my third eye a reminder to keep looking at the world with openness and curiosity, even when it becomes difficult to see the beauty around me. Despite the darkness, this work reflects my choice to remain optimistic and hopeful about society and the people in it.

Special feature

Created with fluorescent neon pastels that glow under UV (black) light, revealing additional layers of color and depth.
