The clown looks away, unwilling to face the reality surrounding them. They do not want this environment or its limited way of thinking to control their identity or determine who they are allowed to be.
For me, this work is about staying true to yourself in a world that may not understand your colours, emotions or way of thinking. It is about protecting who you really are and refusing to make yourself smaller just to fit into somebody else’s reality.
